Color Magic is one room inside Dear Tomorrow, a working art house in Oceanside where people come to make things by hand. We roast small, we buy from growers we have known for years, and you can come taste it in the room where it happens.

THE HOUSE
Dear Tomorrow is a working art house on South Tremont, full of people learning to make things with their hands. Stained glass and woodworking one day, watercolor or plant dye the next, artists in residence upstairs for anywhere from a week to a year. Our room is the one that smells like roasting coffee. The machine runs while you visit, bags get filled, and the seating feels like a living room because it basically is one.

Cuppings, roasting workshops, and nights we throw with people we like. Small on purpose. They fill fast.
Siri has been at this for 13 years
Siri has worked nearly every point along the coffee chain, from origin and import through to the roaster. Color Magic is what she built with all of it. The approach stays the same whether she is cupping a new lot, teaching a workshop, or pouring at a pop up. Taste it, talk about it, decide for yourself what you like.
SAME FARMS, SEASON AFTER SEASON
Most coffee gets bought lot by lot, whoever comes in cheapest that harvest. We go back to the same people instead. Five years with some of them, longer with others. It costs more and it moves slower. It also tastes like something.
Buying for someone else?
A gift card lets them choose their own bag. The coffees change with the season, so they can pick whatever is on the bar when they are ready to use it.
