Every now and then a coffee arrives that makes everyone at the cupping table smile.

Rocket Flower is one of those coffees.

The first thing you'll notice is its playful character. Bright citrus, floral sweetness, candied ginger, creamy coconut, and something strangely familiar that reminds us of Fruit Loops in the very best way. It is expressive without losing its balance, the kind of coffee that invites another sip simply because you're curious what you'll notice next.

Huver Castillo is a third-generation coffee producer in Buesaco, Nariño. Before returning to his family's farm, El Paseo, he spent years teaching mathematics. Today he works alongside his father on land that has been in their family for more than twenty years, continuing a story that has grown one harvest at a time.

The process behind Rocket Flower is remarkably thoughtful. Carefully selected Caturra cherries undergo an extended fermentation designed to highlight the coffee's natural floral and citrus character before being dried slowly and stabilized to preserve clarity in the cup.

We chose this coffee because it surprised us.

Not with louder flavors, but with the way it balances joy and elegance. It reminds us that coffee can still be playful, and that sometimes the best thing to do is stop trying to describe it.
