This coffee found its way to us through a connection close to home. After hearing about the Thai coffees Armando of Blank Space Coffee was bringing to San Diego, we reached out. In April 2026, we joined him to cup the fresh harvest from Yosniyom Coffee Farm. There was so much to love across the table, and we left knowing these were coffees we wanted to share.

Yosniyom is located in Mae Daet Noi, in the highlands near Chiang Mai, Thailand. Producer Yos has earned recognition for both the quality of his coffees and his curiosity about processing. Part of the farm’s revenue also supports meals for students and reforestation programs.

The cherries are fermented for 64 hours with CIMA, a selected yeast that helps guide fermentation and bring out fruity aromas. They’re then dried gradually in the sun and shade. In the cup, we find plenty of sweetness, with flavors that remind us of strawberry, melon and gummy candy.

The people who grew it

We do not buy lots off a list. Siri travels to origin, sits with the producers, and keeps going back season after season. Five years with the same farm is not a slogan, it is a working relationship where both sides can plan.

That is why this coffee tastes the way it did last year, only better.

HOW WE SOURCE

How to brew it

However you already make coffee is fine. If you want to get more out of the bag, start here.

Filter

Medium grind, water just off the boil, roughly sixty grams of coffee to a litre. Sweeter and more layered.

Espresso

Fine grind, eighteen in and about thirty six out over thirty seconds. Adjust from there to taste.

However you like

Drip machine, French press, milk, oat, ice. There is no wrong way to drink your own coffee.

Not sure this is the one?

Two easy ways in. Neither of them requires you to already know what you like.

Come taste it first

Sit at the bar and try five to ten side by side. Thirty five dollars, and you pick as you go.
